Add Your Own Photos
Yes, you CAN add your own photos to the Fremont Flyers website. Keep them clean and relevant to our hobby... as this is a public website.
To add your own photos... start with the following link:

Click on the Photos Tab... and you will have three sections on the left....
| Galleries | Groups of Pictures. Not editable by everyone... if you would like a new gallery created, email Jason. |
| Photos | Where you can Add / Edit your photos |
| Planes | Where you can Add / Edit information about a specific plane tied to a photo. (Eventually, this will allow us to give a link to 'see all pictures of this plane' and it gives more detail when displaying photos without having to duplicate data entry.) |
To add photos... click on the Photos link, and you will see a list of photos already uploaded. Use the ADD button on the bottom of the page to add a new photo.
Enter a Title and Description, then click the Browse button to find the Photo you want to upload from your harddrive.
NOTE: There is no need to resize your photos before posting them to the website... thumbnails and web-ready formats will be created automatically... and your high resolution original will still be available online as well.
After selecting your photo... choose the Gallery to place the image in... and if you would like to tie it to an existing plane description... check the box and choose the appropriate Plane. Finally... if you want your photo to be included in the random pictures that come up on the home page (usually resevered for pictures of planes... not pictures of people) select the Use In Random Photo check box.
Then hit DONE. Your photo will upload (give it a minute... it may take a little bit of time) and you will be returned to the list when it is complete. You can edit an existing photo and change its Title, Description, Gallery, Plane, etc.
